Spotify Mac Very Slow

Spinning wheels, searching for music is very slow, etc. Even though I am on the latest version of macOS and only using the stand alone AM app. Edit after using AM for a year I simply got fed up with iTunes (before Catalina) and AM standalone desktop app being so slow, so I switched back to Spotify. Spotify for Mac has become unbearably slow. Dear Spotify team, Like any tech geek, I love new features. I love that you are attempting to integrate new social features into Spotify. I love that you are working to develop better music discovery. I love that we now have Radio. I love that there are almost 100 add-on apps now available.

Close Spotify if running. Under the Go menu option select Go To Folder. (Shift–Command-G) Type in or paste this /Library/Caches/com.spotify.client/ Click Go or hit Enter on the keyboard. In this folder you should see a Browser folder, Data, fsCachedData and other files. Delete all the contents. Command-A to select all, move to trash. The mac desktop app is incredibly slow. I got not only spotify, but the premium service as well considering when I downloaded this on my phone it worked like a charm. Fast forward to today when I've had spotify desktop for a week and I'm still having these issues.

I recently just started using virtualbox on my mac machine and the performance is very slow on windows 10. My macbook is fairly new and has 16GB of RAM so not too sure if my configuration is wrong, or what could be causing my virtual machine to experience slow performance. Also in the activity monitor, virtualbox is using 200% of my CPU.

I just installed the fresh copy of Windows 10 so any help would be appreciated. I would need this virtual machine to run an environment for a project using visual studio 2017.
I have attached my log, hopefully I can get some guidance to see if there is anything else I need to do to my configuration.

Spotify is a digital music streaming service, which gives access to millions of songs of any and all genres. With Spotify, you can access your music via web player or app — on your Android phone, iOS device, or computer. Generally regarded as a very stable piece of software, Spotify is not entirely fault-proof. You may occasionally run into playback issues, unresponsiveness, slowdowns, or one of the internal error codes, which you can’t decipher right away. In this article, we’ll go over some of the most common Spotify issues and how to fix them, starting from the pausing error.

“Why does my current song randomly stop playing when using Spotify?”, a significant number of users have found themselves asking the dreaded question. The issue behind the unexpected playback stopping is a peculiarity of Spotify older versions. It is caused by simultaneous use of the same account on multiple devices.
